Kirsten May

Occupational Therapist
Media (1).jpg

Kirsten graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. With experience supporting NDIS participants as both a disability support worker and therapy assistant, she is passionate about partnering collaboratively with individuals and their families to build autonomy and achieve meaningful life goals.

As someone with ADHD who lives in a neurodivergent family, Kirsten brings both genuine lived experience and clinical insight to her practice. She is deeply committed to neuro-affirming, person-centred care, focusing on meeting people exactly where they are. Kirsten takes a strengths-based approach to therapy, working alongside clients to uncover what brings them energy and joy, while supporting them to self-advocate and thrive in their everyday environments.

Outside of work, Kirsten channels her creative side into crafts like crocheting or sewing or building dollhouses. She also loves being outdoors - whether that is going on bushwalks and hikes with her dogs or spotting  birds.
